The use of technology is a help to the people in his life, because the technology is a tool very effective and its function is improve our life.
The principal tool that we use is internet to our works of the university, and the social networks as to Facebook or messenger.
I believe that Facebook and messenger are very important, because are tool to communicate with other persons. And the communication is a basic necessity of the human being.
Actually the necessity of to be communicate ever is greater that before, and the technology is great support with this necessity for this reason the people found learn to use the new technologies.

For me the use of technology was and is very important, because it many help me to do the things faster, and I be ever communicate with my friends to together work. I’m a persons that try of learn and be update with the new technologies because is a form of best use his tool.
The problem is that the persons must alone learn and know the advances of the technologies, because are much and every days this are update.
In the university the life without the technologies is impossible, the emails are the form faster to communicate for example the absence of a professor or to know our marks. Also to found information or online books to do a work, paper or essay is essential.
For these reasons to understand the life of the university without tool as to: u-cursos, alumnos.uchile.cl or plataforma.uchile.cl where we can obtain tools to practice this English course.
Lear with the technology other areas is a use very important, and the people are take attention to its. Online Courses of the English, cuisine, make clothe are a sample of it.
But still some persons review the technology because the said that we are prisoner pf the technology, that we doesn’t know do the things alone and to all we need help. I believe sometime is true because the people forget his real capacitates and for example they prefer use a calculator that his mind to add 5 + 5.

Obama!

Which news story has made the biggest impact on you this year? I believe was the Obamma president because he marked a important precedent in the world, with  a political personage  different, that  sign a  change in the society in general.

Maybe is a notice foreign, but had a world repercussion because USA is in this moment the more important country in political.

Although the president Obama was elect in November, 2008 in January of this year assume the presidency.

Also Obama this year received the Nobel award of the peace.  A very important award in the world that can show the USA power.   

I see in the TV and in the online newspaper, because is notice very important even to Chile.

This is event  that began with the candidature de Obamma in the 2008, but his decisions y the changes that he caused also are important and not only is because he is a color person, also is his leadership is innovator and defiant.

Also his family is known, his wife Michelle is a lawyer the la unique first lady African- American.  They have two daughters Malia Ann and Sasha.  And his family

The consequences to our country is that in the world today the decisions of the one only country like USA,  could affect the Chilean economy . Maybe for me isn`t a great change, but if can affect to my country, then also can affect me.

Obamma is a person that found represent a important part of the American citizen, he try have new ideas but the politic power of the USA is more strong.

I believe that this notices has biggest impact because the life political of the nation affect all the things, for example Obamma demanded the performance of the laugh of information liberty or the sanitary safe children program.

He wrote 8 book since 1995 very important for he and by the he receive much money.

My faculty

I am studying in what we call “the Escuelita” or Government School that  is part of the INAP or Institute of Public Management of the University of Chile.

The  CURRENT SITUATION IN my  FACULTY is a delicate matter, because there  we haven`t a good infrastructure appropriate to our requirements.

The space is very little, the building isn`t safe, we haven`t green areas.

I believe that improvement the timetables of the library, laboratories and dining hall because are necessary  all the day. Also the attention in the library, and in the class we have the best professors.

I think that found the best professors with a real called for later to do a demanding selection and not by a political reason.

For this reason is very important a selection supervise by  a commission with persons that know a system in the faculty, and her academic requirements.

THE REAL BENEFITS/IMPACT OF THESE IMPROVEMENTS could be:  best professionals, more researches, more develop of the areas that include our profession, and that this have connection with the  post grade of the Institute.

But in infrastructure the problem is bigger, because this building is national patrimony then we can`t do many changes only we can fix a few things as to the floor. Anyway is the problem economic that mean fix the palace because we haven`t money, for this reason the Institute will build  a new building where is actually the chemical faculty in Vicuña Mackenna.

This is a great advance because there will are together the Institute and the School, with a great infrastructure,  good  and big dining and principally in the good location near the two important faculties like Faculty Economy and business, and Right`s  Faculty .

FREE TIME

Actually the technology is a great help to get more free time, but the problem is that the persons don’t know use the free time, and they use this time for to work more.

So the peoples are stressed, they haven’t good spirit and in general the society ever are tired.

Much persons use his free time playing with the technology, for example in facebook, because this online community also have activities as plays, quiz and are form of entertainment.

Lately I have little free time, because the university is time-consuming, but I try having the Saturday only for me,  because the Sunday I study all day.

But I believe that my free time wisely because only is a day in the week, and I think that is very important enjoy the life.

 

In my free time, I can read, I enjoy playing with my pet or I go eat with my friends.  But principally I try be with my family or to go visit to friends that I don’t see in many time.

Sometime I like walk by Santiago’s neighborhoods and I know many places with a good company. Also go to cinema, zoo, theaters o only to be in a park I see to the clouds.

Really I think that to have free time is very necessary, because we need disconnection of our daily activities, maybe only is necessary breathe, see around and enjoy a moment.

The principal activities that your can do in your free time is rest and to have a moment only for you, because I believe that the persons haven`t time for they actually and this is very necessary to know each and understand the things that you live.

But the University take my life, now for example I`m doing this, and I could be dancing, playing o to take air in a park and I be happiest, because I need a relax or a little moment for only to do nothing.

Britain will send more troops to Afghanistan, because also the Afghans will increase their troops.
This will be a effort in strain with the Afghans president Hamid Karzain said Gordon Brown.

I practice sport, but I haven´t time to practice it in a regular way. Sometimes I go to the university´s swimming pool and I swim an hour approximately.

The sport is very important in our lives, because it helps us to keep our healthy body.

The problem in chile is that we do little sport and as a consequence Chile has high percentages of obesity.

It is a big problem that I believe the goverment has not paid enough attention; for this reason I think that the sport should have a more important role on a national level. Chile should have more stadiums, free sport centers, and the school should promote more the physic activity.

I believe that the way of encourage to people is teach the benefits of it, also with free activities for all community.

I consider that “rodeo a la Chilena” is a bad example of a sport, because it entail suffer of the animal I`m against it, but is increible as the people support a thing as this; I modified it, and I ask for law to your prohibition.

I believe whish sports with animals should be eradicated, as polo, Dog races, horse races, because for me isn`t sport only animal torture and I`m against it all the things that cause suffer to animal.

Also The idea of the sports is to oneself and swim, run, jump, play football, tennis, volleyball and also dance is a excellent physic activity.

Only you should to want and oneself.

places in the Santiago

The nicest places in Santiago for me is the Lastarria neigborhood, because here you can find many things to Do, for example restaurants, libraries, hairdresser's, cinema, clothes shops, coffe shops and theaters.
Also the houses and buildings are beautiful, the architecture in general is very smart, but the best is its location in the center of the city.

My favourite things in this place are the cinema Biografo because there you can watch the best independent movies. Also I like the clothes of fashion enterprising and alternative designers.

The things that a foreign tourist should do are:
Go to central market in Cal y Canto, bacause there they could eat the best fish soup or fried fish.
Also very near there is the “Piojera” , a traditional bar in Santiago.
Another interesting place to visit is the Santa Lucia hill or Saint Cristobal hill, there is also the metropolitan zoo and we can use the cable car and peak tram and you can cover all the hill as far as Providencia.

My list of favourite places/activities in Santiago is:

1) I buy books in a library in Lastarria neigborhood
2) I go to eat fish in “Donde Augusto” in the central market
3) I and my friends do a barbaque on the San Cristobal hill
4) I walk by the street of the Bulnes avenue in the summer.
5) I visit the Bellas Artes musueum and then I walk in the forestal park
I did all this things, but I like do again .

The music has a very important role in my live because she accompanies me ever. For example when I go by subway in the mornings the music help me to I not listen the persons of around me.

Some songs marked my live in important moments for example in my relationships of couple or with my friends.

As well the music is very fun in the party because "without music not exist the party".

I not have a kind of music favorite, because I listened music according to my mood.

My music I unload of the program Ares or of the my friends’s pendrives.
The favourite groups are Miranda (pop), Mago de oz( Heavy metal), Sigur Ròs( alternative Rock), De Saloon (Chilean Rock) but the best is the group “Babasonicos”

My favorite singer Silvio Rodriguez is because their lyrics are deep and meaningful, Silvio has many beautiful songs like "hopefully" And "former". These are songs that really touches the soul

I don´t know of my life sin the music, because is a great accompany and a complement perfect in all things that I do. I listen music in all moment for example when I study or when I`m in the gym, because is very fun tobe in the gym doing aerobic and to listen music. Sometime when I`m happy I like to listen music to dance and when I`m sad I like to listen music more relax. I feel that the music is the expression of the soul in a little notes musicals.. bye

Transantiago

the pre- transantiago system helped to much people because in this time the rute was more speed. The subway never are full every morning and was very nice to travel by subway.

The new system when began was awful, because I not have bus since my house to arrive at university, and the time to take a bus was of the one hour approximately.
Now the system is much best, I have more rutes of bus, the time is much lower to wait by bus.

But I believe that the system need more changes for example more lines in the subway that include to more towns, The autoritys should to estudy more the situations complicated in rush hour for example in providence is horrible the congestion every morning.

The combinations are awful too, because anytime to I arrive very near place I have to take two bus.
Other thing very importan that is the education of the peoples with the system because they not know to use good the bus, for example the jungs that write in the wagons of the subway or when the people need down of a bus and they not wait arrive to parade.
But there isn´t dude this are more best than before.

Paris =)

The place that I would like to know is Paris, because It is a very beautiful city and It is known as the City of light.

Also Paris is known as the city of fashion, because the principal boutiques of the best fashion designers can be met there.I know that in Paris the Art is a very important thing, Paris have many museums such as the Louvre, Rodin and Carnavalet. Too we can find very important pieces of Art like the Gioconda of the artist Leonardo Da Vinci or the code Hammurabi of Mesopotamia.

But I believe that the principal attractions are Eiffel Tower because it is a very old building, the Notre Dame Cathedral or triumph Arch. I would like to walk by the Paris streets; I visit this entire beautiful place.

My big dream is Study there a post grade in political science in the Paris University because is the best University in the area of the political science. Also I would like to live a time in this beautiful city.

I would like meet there the love’s my live because Paris too is know as like the city more romantic in the world. Maybe I will can do my live in this city and really I believe that very happy I would be.

Good and bad points of the firs term

This term was very good because I passed all my courses and this was my principal concern.
Anyway I knew many people very nice that they help in many things. But the first term too I learn more about my career and I loved my career now.
In my time free only I could study and to swim sometime in the university’s swimming pool.
I believe the first term was very important for my, because I regained the confidence in my capacities and I felt that growth emotionally and I had matured. This was big step for my.
With my friends was a time very difficult because we had few time to meet but I learned when a friendship is true this isn’t important.
As well I went to many parties and I enjoyed, danced, laughed really is very fun go to party with my friends.
I’ll expect that this semester will be still better because I have many plans and project that have me very happy and I believe in the studies too I will pass all.

Now I go to the gym Monday and Wednesday because is important keep me heal enter so activity.

The experience of to use a Blog is very good, but I don’t like that we can’t choose a topics to write, because sometime the topic wasn’t entertaining.

I have another blog and in this blog I write all I like short story, but here we had that to write on thing related with the degree. I think that we could to be freer to express different ideas. The advantages of blogging in class really were great; because he blog is very useful to practice the coherence, punctuation in the phrases.

Many persons used the blog to express feeling. I believe that learn English with a blog is really very interesting. Maybe this is necesary in other subject to complement the education with the technology. My suggestion is to repeat more the activity of listen and write on this. The exercise of to write is very complete para to learn more vocabulary.

Though I believe that there are avoidable ways of not doing very much in the blog, it transforms in a playful and different tool, and for the same thing I appreciate the intention of doing something different and innovative. In general was a good experience. Now finish the semester and the blog will close, but I`m very happy because mean that come the holidays.

my ideal job

Mi ideal job is of ambassador because is a form of help to Chile. The ambassador is a person that does the link with another countries. to be an Ambassador I need to study in the Diplomatic Academy, I need to know English and graduate of a Career . besides a person responsible with Chile.I think that would be a good ambassador because I likes the Relations Internationals and the idea of carry our culture to other countries. The life of an Ambassador isn´t easy because He have travel to much, He not have time to family or He have that travel with all family to other country. The Countries in where I would like work are Marruecos, Egypt, Russia for example. The posibility of I know other cultures I like, and to learn to much. First I have that I to be a consul and the consul too is a public server responsible of the Relations Internationals of Chile.

An Artist Chilean "Claudio Bravo"

Claudio Bravo is a painter contemporary very famous around the world. He war born in Valaparaiso Chile in november of 1936.

He use the Óleo, Charcoal, pastel and printmaking in his works, He with this technical have a extraordinary precision to represent the images like an true photo. His First exposicion was in Madrid in the year 1963.In 1968 He painted a President of Filipina and his wife.

in 1970 Claudio Bravo does an exposicion in the town New York in the Staempfli Gallery.

In 1972 He left Spain and He traveled to Marruecos. In Marruecos He bought a house in were He could feel the freedom to paint.

I like because the reality that we can see in his painting is spectacular.

The Pictures that are here is The San Antonio´s Temptation. It is very nice, but as well very interesting because It present subliminal menssage. Like for example the money that the angel have.

Ken Robinson the school kill creative

KEn Robinson speak on the education and that is interesting to all. He said that the childrens have a capacity creative extraordinary, because the children not have fear to err, but when the children grow they lose this capacity. He speak on the system educational and that the art is a discipline that is in last category and the system only cultivat disciplines that are relationed with the head like maths. our educational system is based on academic ability, this because all systems come the century XIX and the public system educational only can learn things to work. Actually he system is only process to enter to university and ten year after will be the year in that more graduates there. I Believe that really he have reason, because all it is part of the educational problem and it must change now!

Hanna Arendt

The best person in my field I believe is Hanna Arendt, she is considerate a political theoric and his publications are very interesting.

Hanna Arendt is a Jewish and in 1951 she nationalized in the U.S.  because she was exiled from Germany.

She defended the concept of"political pluralism" and  shesaid that she prefered the direct Democracy.

In 1932 she makes a critique to the book “The problem woman’s in the actually” and she defend the disrespect that woman suffered  in our society.

Hanna Arednt thought that human being isn't a good person or either a bad person too, however she introduces the concept of the human responsability, with this idea the human being must be responsible for his acts by paying the crimes he has done. 

I've chosen Hanna Arendt because she is one of the most influential thinkers of the twentieth century and I believe her legacy has been used as first attempts of feminism.
I met this author the last year with one of my professors so I find it really interesting and I decided to learn more about her.

Public Administration!!

I study Public Administration and Political Science, because is a career very beautiful and I have a big camp to work.
My professional area is very important to society because is the theory of know how implement the public political.
The principal tools that need a worker of Public management are knowledge of administration, laws and technology, but now is very important too the English.
My subject favorite is History of political thought because is very interesting and I like so much the History.
The career lasts five years more a semester practice and I should like do my practice in my municipality because its management is very deficient.
The principal Chile’s problem is the lack of Public Administrators and undervaluation of it professional area is then that the public political aren’t well implements and some of these failed policies as transantiago.

My notebook =)

My favourite piece of technology, is my notebook, because I can very do with it.
This I bought it February, 2007 and since then I can’t be away from it.

Its use is very easy, but the password to enter, only I and my best friend we know, Only turn on and connect to the Internet , and you can do all things you like.

After every day after when I come to my home after university,
I sit in my desktop and I’m many hours front to my notebook, I’m talking with my friends, studying, playing, looking a movie or listening my favourite music.
I like it because it is useful, convenient, practical, easy to carry anywhere, and can do many things with it.
My life without my notebook would be difficult, because it allows me to be communicated, can I get a lot of information quickly and to learn more.
